User Exit in F4 help for Personnel number

Hi

We have a current requirement in the project to restrict certain user from viewing all the employees in the F4 help for the personnel number.

Eg. If a employee with a particular employee group access the system he should be only able to see the other employees in the same employee group and edit the data for those employee.

We have used the Org key to restrict the editing part of the data, but still the the F4 help displays all the employees in the organization.

Is there any way of achevieing this functionality to restrict the employee number drop down.

Hi Ramesh,

Have you tried using authorisation level M in P_ORGIN(CON)? Authorisation level M for infotype 0002 should control search help access for names and then you have of course all the other field of P_ORGIN to play around with.
