WEBAS doesn't respect client cookie settings

hello,

i faced out the following problem:

if i set for my ie6: block cookies, i will be able

to set persistent cookies via

response->set_cookie( EXPORTING name = cookie_name

value = uname

expires = date_s

secure = secure ).

Bloccking does work for example for this sdn site. If switched on, i will not be able to log on.

Best regards, Stefan

    Do we have one or two questions here? Let us assume the BSP cookie first. It is simple a session cookie. Which means after you close the browser it is gone. From what we know, with IE6 it is NOT possible to disable session cookies. They are always accepted. You should maybe scan Microsoft's website on this for an knowledge base article or so. (I just don't have the time immediately.)

    • Client info stuff was done by another group long time ago. If you have problems with this, we must unfortunately route via OSS so that I can still request one of them to help. This code has not been updated for over two years now. I do not think that the clientInfo tables have up to date information. This must be checked with the other group (-->OSS).
