How to Create New Activity Type for Assiged to work centre Costing in Acti

Dear Sir,

We have four activity type to assigned in workcentre Costing Activity. Details are as under

AIRJET 2010 AIRJET

DONIER 2010 DORNIER

SULTEX 2010 SULTEX

SULZER 2010 SULZER

in addition one more loom is comming in our unit and require new activity type.

How can i create new.

Please guide.

Dear ,

To create new Activity Type , you need to follow the below steps :

KA01 - Create Primary Cost Element for the new activities type.

KL01 - Create Activity Type tied to the primary cost element.

KP26 - Change Activity Type/Activity Price Planning - maintain the Variable price

Assign the activity type to cost center using T code KP26.

In the input screen of T code KP26 ,enter version as 0, from period 1 and to period as 12 and the Fiscal Year as 20xx.

Click on Overview tab on top and key in costing details in this screen.

After performing this ,while creating the work center ,this combination of activity type & cost center should be assigned.

At work centre level , you should have

1.Create Standrad Value Key -OP19 and Formula Key in OP49.

2.Create Formula Parameters in OP7B or u can use existing one to assing in the Standard Value Key

3.In CR02-Assing the Standard value key in Basic Data and select the Formula Key in Costing tab with cost centre assingement .Save

Dear Sir,

We have created activity type through kl01 - picanol. But at the time of Work center creation do not shows in costing tab only previous four shows. details are as under

I have ceated new PICANOL, but do not shows.

Please help for new Activity shows in workcentre creation.

Did you assigned in std value key

if yes,

Re assign in basic data view, It will solve your problem

and then in costing view tick reference id, so that the data will copy to routing

Dear Sir,

If i assigned the activity price in KP26 then system display message PICAKON activity not maintain in system.

And I have created in KL01, but at the time of Workcentre creation do not shows the activity PICKANO.

I have checked through F1 help on that filed, system shows table CSSL and i haved checked the table found rest of the activity year wise maintained, but new activity i have created not shows on that table.

Did you created activity type as suggested by expert JH

KL01 - Create Activity Type tied to the primary cost element.

If yes, You can able to enter the price in KP26

Once you assigned the price for that activity with ref to cost center

the activity will display in work center

for new activity creation

1) Create a New Parameter in OP7B

2) assign the new parameter in standard value key Op19 ( which have already 4 activity )

3) Create a Formula In OP549 take a reference of Old one( loom)

4) Reassign the Std value key in Work center

5) ask your Co consultant to prepare the acivity and assign in costing view and assign the created formula
