Hi all

need to load a flat file through process chain...i have followed to the procedure.. chosed application server.. while creating data source " Load text type file from application server" following this its asking the directory where the CSV file is stored.. im not able to locate the directory.. how to find out where my CSV directory is..

Can you tell me where is the Flat fle stored?

You can't trigger the PC with a flat file which is stored in the Client server.

To find the CSV Directory it means its asking for the Flat file path. give the flat file path where it is stored in Application server.

You can check for the path using the tranaction AL11.click on DIR_HOME

here you can find all the files which are stored under the directory and the path as well.

usually the path starts with /usr/sap/....

You can use the FM- ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_ SERVER to upload the flat file from your server to the Application server.

hi

flat file is on desktop,. not able to locate it in al11, trying to move this file to home_dir but not happening..any other way plz let me know..
