URL Parameter for Login user using URL iView Editor

Hi,

Is it possible to create a URL parameter that read and set the value of the current login user by using URL iView Editor?

If so, please post how-to configure it.

    You don't describe what's your aim, but I've got the intuitive feeling that you want to pass this parameter for something like a logon or so...

    Anyhow, it makes sense to use the Application Integrator (instead of "pure" URL iView). Just download this: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/the application integrator in ep 6.0, read the HowTo guide packed inside and follow the instructions. There you will also find the parameter settings for the current login user.

      Hello Detlev,

      could you please provide me if you have any solution to following question:

      I have configured the URL iView with some parameters. One of the parameter is 'redirectUrl'.

      When I bring up this iView from the portal, it is redirecting the portal browser to the iView, instand of displaying the content in the Portal content area?

      I also set the property of the iView to 'Display in portal content only"

      Any advise?
