Content Management Help!!

folks,

We are looking to move from an existing portal vendor to the SAP Portal.

What we have is a successful installation ready to be configured.

We would like to set up Content Management from scratch.

Clearly we are looking to augement both existing processes and content (Word, Excel, Project, html etc )

that we have in place including content sitting on NT servers on the enterprise network.

Is there is a document that helps explain the sequence in which you would go about doing ( from scratch ) what we have in mind.

The SAP help . . explains topics in no particular sequence.

Our existing portal vendor has Portal user guides and Admin guides that explain base configuration set up ( in a sequence ) that practically any implementation will need to get going. Anything custom on top of that will include working with API's. We are familiar with that approach.

Not sure we saw anything like that out there for the SAP portal.

Anybody who has been at these cross roads, please help.

    Also wanted to add.

    We are running EP6 SP2 with KM installed on it.

    The challenge is the configuration part.
