Hi,
We have a problem in retroactive accounting...For example: payroll is run for January and off-cycle is run in February before February payroll. Now there is a increase in salary from January 15, when the payroll is run for February it calculates the difference amount which is to be paid extra in February payroll and deducts the amount equal to off cycle amount paid and the remaining is added in the Feb payroll some times even negative amount if the off-cycle amount is higher.
Difference amt for Jan - off-cycle amt = the amt to be added in Feb payroll.
Please help....i don't understand why it is deducting off-cycle amount in retro accounting.
I want off-cycle payroll not to be calculated for retroactive accounting.
Thanks in advance.
