XML parser reports an error while running sapinst

Hi All,

We are trying to install ECC6.0 thru SAPINST on linux platform but while trying to start sapinst on linux platform its giving a error

XML parser reports an error line 9 column 2 during parsing file /root/control.xml

retrieving account information for group sapinst...

Account sapinst already exists.

getting ACL of /tmp/sapinst_instdir succeeded.

inserted account (Everyone, -17, GROUP) into the accountcache.

Editing rights (rwx): (501, GROUP, =rwx)

Setting rights of sapinst to rwx

Editing rights (rwx): (0, USER, =rwx)

Setting rights of root to rwx

Editing rights (rwx): (-17, GROUP, =rwx)

Setting rights of Everyone to rwx

Authorizations set for /tmp/sapinst_instdir.

retrieving account information done.

Working directory changed to /tmp/sapinst_exe.21545.1297498033.

please suggest, i also tried after replacing control.xml from installation master but same error kindly suggest

Did you start sapinst in /root? How did you start sapinst?

I would rather choose a dedicated filesystem like /install for my dvd location. Then:

root# cd /install/Installation_Master_DVD
root# ./sapinst

Maybe it is best and fastest if you retry your installation from scratch.
