Do not Replicate Materials Flagged for Deletion.

Hello Everybody,

I am working with CRM 7.0 and we have ECC as our backend system. We did the initial download for materials, but I see the materials which are flagged for deletion also replicated from the ECC to the CRM.

Does anybody know how to filter these materials?

Is there also any mapping for this deletion flag? because we want the system to show warnings for the materials flagged for deletion

Hope you can answer soon

Best Regards.

Hello Daniel,

If you want to stop Flagged for deletion materials coming into CRM from R/3, Set the filter in R3AC1 for object MATERIAL with MARA-LVORM <> X. But yes, this will not help you with your other requirement of throwing a warning msg when material is newly flagged for deletion. For such a warning, you can get the deletion flag into CRM and try catch this as an even and trigger a workflow sending an email to responsible people informing about this new deletion flag on a material.Would become little complex though.

Hi Santosh,

I actually went to Tx. R3AC1 and selected the MATERIAL object, but the in the fields available for the Table MARA the is no option to select the LVORM field.

I tried adding it manually but I got the following error message:

"Object MATERIAL does not allow filter on MARA LVORM"

Do you know how can I add this field to the filter settings ?

Best Regards.

HI,

As per my knowledge the materials which are flagged for deletion in ECC when downloaded to CRM, they are flagged for deletion in CRM also by the system.

So when you cannot use such material in any transaction in CRM, the system will throw an error.

However if you still want to restrict the flow of such materials in CRM initially then go with the suggestion as mentioned in the above post.

Try putting in some filters for material in R3AC1 based on deleted flag.
