Dear Gurus,

This is with regards to Excise document.

After creating the excise document thorugh J1iin. while i am trying to view it, I am getting a message that the excise no is archived.

What could be the possible reason?

Request for your inputs.

Thanks,

Saravana

Hi ,

This generally happens because of number ranges.

Please see if you have recived update ternimation message in you Business work place.

If this is the case please check you number ranges, if they are already consumed extend the same.

go to J1IIN in display mode.

select alternate selection and enter your invoice number and press enter.

You can see the excise invoice number on the top right side.

you can copy the excise invoice number including zeros.Try again for display of excise invoice with that number.

Hi Lakshmipathy,

Yes. Its maintained. But i am not able to see the display.

Hi Suresh,

I have seen the alternative method of displying the excise. But my question is, why i am not able to get the display normally.

What kind of settings i should make, to see the excise doucment display as it is. And why there is a Button given"Alternate Selection" By SAP. To solve these kind of issues or its for some other purpose.

Thanks,

Saravana

Go to SE16, input table J_1IEXCHDR and execute. Maintain ETT as DLFC and other details and execute. There check for the following fields which should have the values as indicated.

STATUS > C

CENSTAT > P
