transfer flatfile from Gentran integration suite to SAP idoc using XI

i want to transfer flatfile from GIS to XI and then from xi to IDOC, then IDOC to R/3 system.

in case of flatfile transfer in communication channel of Sender,which adapter we have to select, whether we have to select flatfile adapter?please let me know.

(Non-SAP) FLAT FILE->XI->IDOC (SAP).please post the steps

Sender (Flat File 😞 Use File adapter and choose File content conversion as Message Protocol

Receiver Idoc adapter

So, File(FCC) --> XI --> IDOC
