BOM CORRECTION

Dear Gurus,

I have 60 s(ROH) to whom i want to know in which header BOM it is used and i want to enter the Production storage Location to these components in their respective BOMs.Kindly guide me how to perform this activity.

Use CS13 or CS15 to explode BOM.then use CS02 or CS62 to assign materialwise location.or you can maintain one storage location in material master MRP2 view.

Whre used list u can use CS15 and for production storage location u can enter in MM02 and also CS02 or CS62 in status/lng txt tab there is option production storage location.

Hi dear,

You can use T. code CS15 to know in BOM said ROH is used. Which BOM u want to update (CS02,CS62 or any other?) In CS02 or CS62 there is not field to enter Production storage location.

Instead of entering priduction ostorage location in BOM maintain the production storage location for each raw material in mterial master MRP2 view once this is done when ever and where ever this ROH is used issue it will flow automatically.

In CS15, if you enter the component material and plant system witll give you the list of Heasder materials where the component is used.

To enter the storage location in BOM item maintenance screen, you can maintain production storage location as issue storage location.

If storage loc is same for a component irreseptive of header material, then maintain issue storage loc in compoment material master MRP 2 view.
