Hi

We are testing the SP05 - Publisher

In SP03 we did not have this error.

When I need to make a new publication I always need recordset publication

but now the "organize by" drop down won't display the hierarchies we have

it changes colour but no dropdown occurs.

during load of rep. the repair function has been used.

does any of you have the same problem.

Hi Kurt,

What build of MDM7.1 sp06 are you using?

I tried with 7.1.06.219 and it works correctly, listing the available hierarchies to order by in the drop down list of recordset publication.

Can you please try to apply the latest build of SP06 and retest?

<just to make sure- please verify that these hierarchies are references from the main table>

If this issue persists I recommend to open an OSS ticket for support to have this issue investigated.

Hi Hedda

this error was found during testing SP05

now we have SP06 and nearly all of our errors and workarounds has been fixed

The Hierarchies are visible in new publication.

The Indexer now shows formatted text instead of XML.

Save to template works too.

Speed has increased dramatically from SP03.

I still have one strange thing though

When you work with the tables in the spread,I want the table to automatically adjust to the page width.

so when I have set the field width, I want the fields to stay at that width, but that does not happen.

I can set the row heights and this seem to work, also when i use the "Ctrl + Alt + C" option

but i can't set the width of the entire table, it seems like I have to manually adjust every table in the chapter.

this could be many hundreds.

Am i missing something here or is this the way it is supposed to work?

I understand if you have more or less attribute columns you can't set the width on the table beforehand

or even use the template to steer the table width.
