I'd appretiate if you can help me find a way to setup the system to accomplish the following scenario.
We would like to use sales orders for planning purposes but use project with a WBS hierarchy for all financial/costing activities.
1. Create Sales Order
2. Run MRP and generate planned orders
3. run MRP and generate planned orders for all lower levels in the BOM structure
3. Convert planned orders to preq/prod orders and purchase orders
4. GR against purchase orders in project stock
5. GI against production orders from project stock
6. Settle production orders to WBS element.
We tried account assignment category "D" but got the error "Valuated project stock not allowed with customer stock".
Is there any other way of keeping the flexibility of planning with sales orders/planned orders and having all financial postings to the WBS.
