Number Ranges in IDM and GRC CUP

Hi Experts,

Currently I am involving the GRC implementation project and planning to integrate SUN IDM with GRC CUP. As per the business requirements Access request needs to be initiated in IDM and then forward request in to GRC CUP for approval process. I just want to know, is the same request numbers are created in both DM and GRC CUP or different numbers created. If the request numbers are created differently, how can business users check the status of the requests?

*Please share me if you have any document related to handling requests in IDM and GRC CUP.*

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

Arjuna.

Hi Arjuna,

no, the request numbers are different. You can use webservice SAPGRC_AC_IDM_REQUESTSTATUS to check the status.

You can find detailed information about the integration of an IdM System in the configuration guide. Please follow the link below: https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000691289&;

We use these webservices in our project without problems.

Hope this heps you.

Thanks for reply...

suppose end user raise a request in IDM and the request number 1 is created, then the request is forwarded to GRC CUP for approvals and the request no 2 is created in GRC CUP. so that which request no,s(1 or 2) end users use to check the status of the request in IDM.

Thanks in Advance,

Arjuna.
