Upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1

Hi,

at the end it is straight forward:

- create SWDC in MI7.1 wich is mi7.0 compatible.

- convert any 2WAY SyncBO to Server Driven

- manually import your SyncBO into MI7.1 and activate them

- import you app into Eclipse and import the new created SWDC.

Because you have not changed the structure of the DO as such, your app will work still as before.

The migration guide - well, in most cases it does not work. You need to fit into too many recommendations and prerequisites, so doing all these things manually works fine. I have done it a few times and never had any issue with it.

2WAY SyncBO in 7.1 seems doesn't work, do you have any suggestion?

Hi Nilesh,

There is no upgrade path from 7.0 to 7.1. Only way to get the application from 7.0 to 7.1 is through migration.

SmartSync and generic Sync applications can be migrated from 7.0 System to 7.1 System.
