automatic TR creation in prod order release

Former Member

Hi Experts,

Could You pls, help me with an automatic TR-creation for prod order components?

We have a WM-PP integrated system (with supply area and control circle etc.) Each time we release a prod order, the material staging need to be done in LP10 tr. action u2013 which is rather mechanic then control action (than LB13 for TO creation out of TR u2013 which is actually our control point, therefore I prefer to have it manually done, so no automatic TO creation). I could find out that the TR creation could be automatic based in prod. sched profile (OPKP), but actually I want this function to be run on raw materials u2013 which has no work scheduling view.

So, the question is: how could I set the system to skip the LP10 and do the material staging / create TR automatically u2013 possible when the prod order is released.

All answer will be appreciated.

Hi

Pls maintain the required settings in transport tab for your production scheduling profile in OPKP transaction.

Hi,

thank You for answering - but I am bit confused:

my understand is, than in OPKP I can make setting only for production sched. profile, which could be set later on the material master / work scheduling view. But I am about to deal with raw materials, which has no work scheduling view - and this is the point I wanted to highlight in my original question.

If I maintain this for the produced material - which I have tried of course - I could not see any changes: the LP10 still need to be done, otherwise no TR created.

Pls, clerify what You mean (I might get the procedure wrong)!

Waiting for Your response

WM-PP interface setting is not related (directly) to the components of production order, it is related the header (to be produced) material (W/o work scheduling view for raw materials it is working fine since this view of raw materials has nothing to do with WM-PP interface settings).

Here you can find the configuration steps (dummy explanation):

remarks:

- you have to use indicator "X" in V_TCO43-FLG_WM_REL instead of "X" if you only want TRs and not TOs

- hopefuly the proper work center (with proper supply area) is in your routing, and raw materials belong to the proper operation

Auto TR creation works for pick parts (control cycle setting).

Dear,

Thank You for investigating u2013 the described steps (linked thread) seems to be correct in my system. ( I actually have a running system which only need to be modified)

1.Supply area exist and actually assigned to the material in matmaster (have good reason not to use WC).

2.Movement is assigned to storage type u2013 what do You mean of assigning to supply area? I guess I did not get this point.

3.I have default control cycle settings in LPK1 u2013 which works on each material with same supply area in matmaster

4.In Sched profile assignment / X u2013 for TR at release

5.Same Profile at finish goods matmaster

6.Interface is active for sure

- And still can not get the TR automatically created; all component are sitting in LP10, waiting for TR creation u2013 as it was before (and as You described it in the old thread: u201Cdo the material stagingu201D). But I am still searching for the answer u2013 could it be possible to skip the LP10, and create the TR automatically without this step?

I appreciate Your answer

1.Supply area exist and actually assigned to the material in matmaster (have good reason not to use WC).

I cannot see any material master related data table when checking the where used list of data element "PRVBE" (Supply Area). How can you assign it to the material in material master???

We can assign supply area to BOM items in CS02 (table STPO).

I did following things:

1) Defined "Supply Area" for BOM items

2) Removed WC when creating PrdOrd --> Supply Area was determined for components in CO01 --> Goto --> WM Picklist

When I saved the order, no TR was created. In LP10 I was able to create TR.

When using the WC with supply area assigned to it (for the operation in PrdOrd), the TR is created properly (automatically, as it is set in config).

So, it seems system needs the WC with supply area in order to be able to generate the TR automatically, at order release (I did not investigate why).

Dear,

I am really greatful for Your support, but wherever I set the supply area - tried WC, BOM, MM - I still not get the TR automatically created, also no OSSfor this issue. I hope MWMPP001 will help me out.

Goto --> WM Picklist: no reqmt qty could be seen for some reason, and also after Function /WM mat staging / Proceed - the Log says LP002- executed without error, but the LP10 still need to be done.

You might want to check out the usage of MARC-VSPVB @ MRP 2.

Thanks for all

Dear,

I have checked another system, and recognised I did not even get the message LP090 - for missing supply area in WC (no message control found). And the enhancement is no good for the reason.

DoYou know how could this happen, why the message is missing if no supply area in WC when the procedure is used?

Thank in advance

(I'm not sure you are asking me)

1) Sorry, I missed the supply area in material master (its data element is VSPVB whilst I was checking only PRVBE)

2) In your situation I would check all the WM/PP interface settings and master data. It's not too difficult in my opinion, you already did it.

But you can use OSS note 560638 to have a closer look at your config (as well as OSS note 126881).

If everything is fine including "V_TCO43-FLG_WM_REL", then it should work. If still not I would contact SAP AG instead of using user exit or do any modification to get standard functionality (or you have to debug it yourself what might be the cause of the problem...).

/As I saw LP090 is triggered in include "LLCPPF0Z"./

Dear,

(yes, of course - the closed and reopened thread sent a message automatically to myself, and did not bother to find how to modify)

Notes are correct, I might go for duble check the whole issue.

i am really greatful to have Your answers.

All the best
