Hi,
We have loaded data into InfoCubes with ZAMOUNT key figure. When I check the data data in the InfoCube its showing exactly what I loaaded into Cubes( with currency). When I open the same report in BEx the ZAMOUNT value is multiplying with 100 and for some currencies multiplying with 0.1 etc othet than USD. any ideas?
Thanks,
Ram
Hi,
you should check the decimal places of your currency in customizing.
Spro->General Settings->Currency->Set decimal places for currency
If it is 0, than the system will internally store 100 as 1,00 and while reporting multiply 1,00 with 100 to get the correct result. If you have 4 decimal places then the system will store 100 as 10000,00 and will later on devide by 100.
If the decimal setting is correct from your point of view and you loaded data via flat file, check the currency conversion for external system flag in the infoPackage.

When I check the data in ODS the value is 100 which I am getting from Oracle tables using DB connect. Even in the InfoCube the value is 100. But when I check in the BEx it is showing 10000.
Here is the Example how it shows.
In InfoCube:
zamount
123 USD
123 GRD
123 ADP
123 TND
In the BEx report:
zamount
123 USD
12300 GRd
12300 ADP
12.3 TND
For USD currency the amount is showing properly. I checked the TCURX table for decimal settings.but no help.
Thanks,
Ram
Hello.
What is your tool to view the query result - BEx or Web? If it's BEx then you should check what is your decimals delimiter in Excel set to. If it's ',' then try '.' or vice versa. I've solved the same problem as yours that way.
Furthermore Web query reports are free from such mistake.
Hope this helps,
Andrey
Hi,
just for clarification:
- In BEx you see 12300 GRd
- In Infocube you see 123 GRd
- Decimals for GRd are set to 0.
=> System works correctly (see explanation before) Data in Infocube is wrong. Also please have a look at note 153707.
- You have to transfer external currency format (how it is stored in your database table) to internal currency format during transfer routines.
Regards
Heike
