SAP CRM 4.6 and Windows Compatibility

Hi all,

Our CRM repository and IPC servers are running on Windows 2000 advanced server.

We are currently using CRM 4.6 and mobile repository server 4.0.

We are planning to upgrade ONLY the operating system from Windows 2000 advanced server to Windows 2003 or even better Windows 2008.

Are there any known compatibility issues, taking into consideration that we are using CRM 4.6 and mobile repository server 4.0?

Will these applications continue functioning without problems after the operating system upgrade?

Hi Catherine,

According to PAM (Product Availability Matrix). Windows Server 2000 (at least SP2) is compatible.

available on the SAP Service Marketplace for info on the software and the versions that are supported.

Also refer to the installation guide of the CRM Mobile Sales for this type of information.

I have checked installation guide for 4.0 SP16 and its lists.

Microsoft Windows 2000 SP04 and above Server, or Windows XP SP02 and above as software prerequisite.
