ITEM Scheme Process

Dear All,

My client has schemes for many of his products.

Conditions are

1) On ever 10 piece of ITEM he get ITEM 2 free 1 piece

2) Scheme will be for all the customers

3) Scheme may be for specific customers only

4) Scheme had a validity period

what cleint needs is that when creating a Sales Order if item 1 is selected the second item need to be populated into teh documnet automatically.

If item is booked as for 20 pieces the quantity for ITEM 2 should come as 2 pieces

CAN we do it in Standard system.

Other wise i will have to go for development

Hi,

As Rahul suggested use the Template BOM and ad the free item and you can use this for specific customers and about time frame you will need to setup a UDF field to keep track of the expiry of the BOM.

Hi ASLAM........

You can use template BOM for solving your purpose.

It brings the other item2 automatically in the other line if you select the Item1 in first row.....

And for Free of Cost functionality you can use Tax Only utility......

Thats a perfectly logical solution, though i will be problem as both my items are purchase item, where as in case of sales BOM i cannot define my Parent item as a Purchase Item

Hi ASLAM.....

Please read my Thread Carefully.

Im not talking about Sales BOM.

Apart from Sale BOm you have other option also which Im talking particularly about Template BOM

in which you can give an item as Purchase Sale and Inventory.\

This may save your customization ........
