Alternative Labeling Problem

I used SPRO to activate alternative labeling of Functional locations

I created a Structural indicator with an edit mask of SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

and a hiercy level of " 1 "

I defined a lableing system (not primary)

I created a user profile Point to the labeling system and sturctural indicator I created earlier

I went to FL GS-02-001-001 and gave it an alternative label of "PR-111" and it worked fine.

I then went to FL GS-02-001-001-0001 and attempted to give in a alternative label of "PI-1110"

I got the error message "Functioanl location does not exist"

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Scott,

Before you use alternative labels you need to read the OSS notes because this functionality has big impact on SAP performance

I found that the program RI_IFLOT2IFLOS needed to be run after activating the alternative labeling
