SAPehpi stuck in phase PREP_INPUT/DBQUERY_PRE

Hello Experts,

I am currently running ECC 6.0 with EhP4 and I am attempting to use the Enhancement Pack installer to implement ECC 6.0 Support Pack Stack 8. I've downloaded the latest 7.00 Enhancement Pack Installer (version 60) along with the latest versions of tp, R3trans, and dbsl. SAPehpi starts running just fine but when it gets to phase PREP_INPUT/DBQUERY_PRE, it displays the following on the screen:

Grant of privileges for shadow schema SAPVCISS

failed. For details refer to the log files:

/sapcds/EHPI/EHPI/abap/log/DB2GRASH.LOG

/sapcds/EHPI/EHPI/abap/log/DB2RADM.LOG

When I check the DB2RADM.LOG I see the following:

EXECUTING /sapcds/EHPI/EHPI/abap/exe/db2radm (/sapcds/EHPI/EHPI/abap/exe/db2radm) -m db2i -G only -Q SAPVCISS -S DB2V -l /sapcds/EHPI/EHPI/abap/log/DB2GRASH.LOG -u PWEISBR -p XXXXXXXX -W primary_only

Process with ID 11993266 terminated with status -11

When I check the DB2GRASH.LOG I see the following:

Grants succesfully executed .

Starting Catalog Alters.

DB2Trc: 000000 CLI_ALLOC_ENV 1

COLLECTION ID used is "SAP0905"

Connecting to <DB2V_on_sy4tst> on connection 0 ...

Now I'm connected to DB2 ()

COLLECTION ID used is "SAP0905"

SQL DRIVER NAME is "libdb2.a"

SQL DBMS NAME is "DB2"

SQL DBMS VERSION is "09.01.0005"

DATABASE NAME(DB2 Connect DCS database name) is "USCFC0DB2V"

Monitor for DB2 system not started. Retrieving EBCDIC CCSID from SYSIBM.SYSSTRINGS.

EBCDIC CCSID calculated from SYSIBM.SYSSTRINGS is 37 .

Your DB2 system works with ASCII code page 819 and EBCDIC code page 37

DATABASE LOCATION NAME is "USCFC0DB2V "

Now I'm connected to DB2V_on_sy4tst

DB2 DBMS version

DB2 LOCATION name USCFC0DB2V

Info: DbSl reported DB2 server version .

Please note that the DB2GRASH.LOG is saying that the grants WERE successful. The remainder of the file does not seem to indicate a problem but just kind of ends. I've looked everywhere I can think of to find info as to why it is stopping but have been completely unsuccessful.

I have a customer message open with SAP, but I thought I would put this out in SDN to see if anyone might have some ideas to get me going as my schedule is now subject to shifting.

Any insight you can offer is appreciated.

Regards,

Doug
