Auto PO for multiple line items

Hi All,

I ma creating PO with refernce to PR with T.code ME59 but my problem is to create PO with PR for multiple items,

Ex: I have PR with 4 line items now i want to create PO only for 1&4 line items,

please let me know if it is possible or if possible please let me know the process,

Hi dear,

This is possible if you creatw PO with reference to PR by T. code ME21N.

Go to selection varient->Choose option of Purchase Requisition->Now in program selection enter Purchase Requisition Number and in the item number field you can enter the only item numbers for which you have to create PO from PR.

Yes , it can be possible to convert the multiple line items in purchase frequistion into single purchase order, if and only if the Fixed vendor which is determined in purchase requistion line item level is same. In PR you can have material with differnt fixed vendor.

Yes, you can use ME59N for PR TO PO conversion, if and only if when source vendor is already dyermined in your PR.

Two Examples say PR contains 4 line items belonging to same vendor;

Go to ME59N >> Now enter the PR number in the filed and execute. All the line items in PR will be converted to single PO

Now say out of 4 line items 2 belong to Vendor A and remaining two belong to Vendor B

Go to ME59N>> Enter Vendor as VENDOR A in Fxied vendor filed and enter PR number in PR number filed and execute.

Likely follow this step for vendor B whcih will send remaining two line items

It is nowhere said that a requisition with 4 items can only be converted into 1 PO with 4 items.

Each PR can be assigned to a different source, and based on the settings for auto PO in material master and vendor master a PO is automatically created with ME59n or not.

Further ME59N has a huge selection screen that can be used to fulfill your requirement. I think your requirment has more background (than just the PR item number ) which can be used in the selection.

If you specify the materials (assuming that the line items on PR have different material and you are doing this individually by requisition) on the ME59 in addition to requisition, does it work?
