dear experts,

i have created a prodution order with BOM for the material Mbom. ..while making a purchase order with l category or without for the same material mbom i am not able to retrive the components from bom...?? why it is.?? if we are doing it for the same material then its suppose to explode bom automatically right.???

Hi,

If ur creating Subcontracting PO using item category as L then only BOM will explode otherwise no.

Check the following

1) Status of the M.BOM is active.

2) In case of subcontracting PO item category is L.
