Multiple XI Installations on one Server

Is it possible to install multiple XI 3.0 instances on one UNIX machine?

We wonder if we can place development system (Dxx) and quality assurance system (Qxx) on the same UNIX box. The production system (Pxx) would be on another UNIX box.

Of course we would use the "all-in-one" installation scenario.

Does anybody know if this works? Or has anybody some experiences on that?

Regards

Marc

    Marc,

This is exactly how we have our XI 3.0 environment configured. It works just fine. The only 'gotcha' that I'm aware of is that all of the IP ports have to different between the two systems. This prevents the configuration of the two from being exactly the same.

      Hi Chris,

Im particulary interested in the behaviour of SLD in this kind of infrastructure.

Does your XI environment uses only one or multiple SLD instances?

Do you have access to all your defined business and tech. systems/objects across the XI environment in SLD?

      Thanks,

      Rob.
