Problem with upload of company logo in SE78

When I upload the company logo with a white background.

Color = FFFFFF. The background comes up as grey in SAP.

The file I am using is a color Bitmap with a resolution of 95dpi. I need to know what format the logo has to be in to be uploaded into SAP.

Thank You.

    Faaiez,

try with tif extension, without compression for file.

    • I've found an solution on the SAP Notes website which should have been my first point of call. The note number is 205837.

For completion I'll post the solution:

As of Release 4.6B, both the import with RSTXLDMC and the import with Transaction SE78 convert Fullcolor raster graphics into 256 color raster graphics, if possible. Some color accuracy is naturally lost during the conversion. See also Note 39031.

Workaround: Convert the TIFF or BMP file before the import to the R/3 System into a 256 colors BMP or TIFF file. For this, use a PC graphics processing program such as PaintShopPro which is described in Note 39031. The color definition of 256 color screens is always transferred exactly, that is, without gray level conversion during the import.
