Data Retrieval Approach

Hi,

We are planning to build dashboards using Xcelsius. And we have QAAWS to retrieve live data. My question is do we also need LO or QAAWS is good enough to get live data into the dashboards? Also can we get live data through crystal reports from DB rather build a universe? Appreciate if somebody could respond and help me in understanding LO and QAAWS functions. I'm looking for specific answer, therefore I created this thread. Sorry for creating a duplicate. Thanks!!!
