Fiori application to integrate with Sharepoint for file upload

Hi

We are developing Fiori application which require attachments to be uploaded from the Fiori application to be saved in MS Sharepoint server. If the we host a dedicated sharepoint server for this purpose will it be possible to create a generic OData file upload service in netweaver gateway which will upload the attachments in Sharepoint & provides url of the file in the response. Is this feasabile ?

This is very much possible. Try it and let us know how it went or if you surface any problems.

Also you may explore SAP's product GWM

    Hi,

You can also use YAC, see here: YAC Datasheet, e-mail to info@znk.lu

This add-on makes the bridge between Archivelink and any system supporting services (oData and WS). And in practice, when you buy it, it includes the implementation for automatically storing and retrieving documents in Sharepoint.

The strength is that you don't have to develop anything in Fiori, all Fiori apps where attachments are supported will work as this is based on GOS which is the "underlying" technology in Fiori apps attachments. And it creates the documents in Sharepoint with their original name, and with folder / sub-folder and document attributes automatically coming from the SAP object attributes.
