Capacity check

What is capacity check in WM?Where do i activate this.Where do i define the capacity?

Hi,

You can enter in following path:

SPRO>LE>WM>Master data>Material-->Define Storage Unit Types

the capacity is defined in the storage bin (LS02N)

the capacity consumption has to be entered in the WM view of a material master.

When you move a material into the bin, then SAP is looking up material master how much capacity it has to consume for the quantity in the TO and reduces then the remaining capacity of the bin by this value.

For example,if i have defined as 1000 lb,in capacity in MMR.what happens when i do a GR & when it reaches 1000Lb.
