configurable material removal

Hi ,

Is it possible to remove the cross plant CM from material master basic data 2 view and I also want to remove the configurable check box in BD2.

i have mentioned the material nu in CM material field in BD2 and now i need to remove it

Dear,

You want to change the indicator MARA-KZKFG I think which is gay out in MM02 try to remove it from table it self.

Else check the configuration profile for the material is exit. System also checks whether the material is used in a bill of material (BOM). So why that it won't allow you to remove this tick.

BOM is already reomed ,configuration profile is already delted but the material is mentioned in BD2 view in cross plant cinfigura.

I need to remove the material from that field and also I need to remove the check box of configurable from BD2.

Dear,

What is your material type is it KMAT? then in OMS2 there is setting for Material is configurable tick. You can change the material type by MMAM.

Also refer the OSS Note 1465078 - MM02: Deleting MARA-KZKFG checks unnecessary BOM usage

its HALB and not KMAT.

we want to remove the same data from MRP 3 view for field CM material

Mr. Brahmankar,

I have a Material that was KMAT and we changed via MMAM to HALB. I am trying to deselect the Configurable Material checkbox in the Material Master and receive message MM315 "not possible to cancel Material Configurable indicator".

I am S4 Hana and will read more to see if I can find the solution, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
