Hi ,
We are using SAP SRM 5.0
I have created a live auction and published it. I am also able to log in as a purchaser and log into live aution.
But I would like to know what would be the URL for bidders/suppliers in LIve auction.
I read in sap help that the URL for supplier is mailed to the supplier when live auction in published.I checked the mail in SOSG , the URL is not there in the mail.
How do I find the URL for the supplier then ? Please help and explain in detail.
Are there any settings to be done in suppliers' system or internet browser for opening the URL ?
.
Hi,
Please logon SRM with bidder user ID. You will find Auction button.
For generating URL in email, please check you have maintained the EXT_ITS attributes in PPOMA_BBP.

I have logged in as a bidder in SRM, where do I find auction button ? BUt I suppose the live auction live should be an external link so that the vendors who are not in our network can also open it through normal internet connection .
Yes , I have checked , attribute EXT_ITS is not maintained. What should I maintain here ? Where from can I get the link ?
Thanks Masa
I have logged in as a bidder in SRM and am able to see auction now by going to 'process bid' transaction.
But the querstion is how do external vendors log into SRM , they are not our network and so there should be some external weblink which can be opened with normal internet connection ?
Hi,
When RFx/Auction is published suppliers get email with URL.
The URL is generated based on your customizing. EXT_ITS is one of it.
Customer has WebDispatcher or any other web server which get access from external. The WebDispatcher converts external address to internal address to access SRM server.
Please check the Security guides in SAP Service Marketplace.

If you use SUS: Supplier Self Service, Supplier can logon to SUS and single sign on to SRM.
RFx Response handling in SUS server is available in SRM 7.0 EhP1.

Hi Saurav,
You should contact your basis expert and Network experts .
The host & port of the URL should have been registered for access through internet (just like your company URL is registered for access thru internet).
Depending upon your nwtwork design (reverse proxy or web dispatcher used & public URL registered), you need to make settings in ICM in SRM.
Then EXT_ITS parameter in PPOMA_BBP.
Best regards,
Ramki
Any Idea about this ??
