Service for Address Number reassigning to different BP ID

hi,

In our Test CRM system, I need to take existing physical or postal address number and assign to different BP ID. I would like to know if I could use any service for this purpose eg. I would give BP ID and the new address number to be linked and fm/bapi would update the necessary tables?

Or can i update the tables like BUT020 or BUT021_FS directly to change the link between the BP and address number?
