Export to Excel (Data Only)

Hi,

This is about a bug in Crystal Reports (version 11.0.0.1282, CR Developer; Full; French version).

Symptom:

I loaded an RPT file with CR.

Then I try to export it to a file using: File>Export>Export Report.

If I select PDF, Word or Excel, the result is what expected: with all records at the correct format.

I can see as well the correct report in the preview tab.

But when I select Excel Data Only, the results contain only half of what is expected; I donu2019t get:

u2022 Page Header b

u2022 Details a

u2022 Page Footers a b c

Can you help us about that?

Best regards

In the screen shot most of the report is suppressed (grey hash lines). Any data in those areas will not appear on the report or be exported.

Try upgrading to CR Xi R2 for free and test again.

Also, both versions are past their fix cycle.

Install CR XI R2 Service Pack 4 full build and then apply SP 5 and SP 6.

Thank you

Hi Hassan,

I took a look at your report and I can have it exported when I remove the supress formula in the Detail section.

Why are you using this formula?

To get around this, would moving the subreport to the Report Footer be a better place since it's printing at the end anyways?

Hope this helps,

Brian
