LT03

Hello,

I am having and issue with T.O. creation through LT03.

Scenario:

I originally make my T.O.s in the background using LT03. I regularly need to cancel several items off of the T.O. because they are trying to pick partial boxes(our dept always needs full boxes). After I cancel these items I go back into LT03 and try to make T.O.s in the foreground so these particular items don't try and pull partial boxes. When I cancel off these items they don't get tied back to the delivery, so I have no way to make cleanups. Similarly, when I cancel items like this from deliveries going through LX39 it does tie those items back to the delivery so I can make the cleanups needed without an issue.

I can't make the T.O. in the foreground originally, because there can be several hundred items on the delivery. To get around this problem right now I have been making a T.O. through LT01 to a 999 virtual bay so I can get the product to the line, but LT01 doesn't tie it to the delivery.

My question is once I cancel an item off the original T.O. how can I get this item tied back to the delivery so I can make the cleanup T.O. in the foreground?

Hi

Basically if you cancel an item on a TO or make a short pick then next time you go to the delivery to create the TO you should see ALL of the items that have not been picked.

If you only want to pick full quantities or 'BOX' quantities then why not configure the system to dop this by selecting removal strategy M in the storage type/s and setting the control qty in the material masters

This requires the box quantities to be consistent because if they are all different you will reqiuire a development to do this

I hope that this helps

This worked Frenchy. It was set to removal strategy A. When changing to M, it helped with the original problem.

Your explanation is a bit confusing (at least to me).

If you cancel the TO (LT15 if it is not confirmed) or reverse (LT0G if it is confirmed) the delivery should be ready for picking. You can do this directlky via LT03 or via VL06O (VL06P).

If the delivery is not ready for picking after the cancellation of TO, there's a bug in your system, you should find a suitable OSS note or contact SAP AG - or check whether there's a development in the system which responsible for this.

However, it's very strange that your "normal" process is to cancel a lots of TOs. Why don't you elaborate a process which works properly and no need for cancelling TOs (I mean cancellation of TOs should be exception and not your "best practice").

My department only loads full boxes of material(there can sometimes be 50 of a product in a box). Other departments can load individual products. So when I have to cancel items off, they are quantities that do not equal a full box. Sometimes when making TOs in the background it will try pull quantities that are less than a full boxes worth of material.

As for my problem, it seems like there may be a bug in the system.

Hi

I think u need to create new TO after you cancel some line items & process the new TO in background/foreground. because as we know no editing is allowed in TO.

If i have not understood you requirement, Could you pls summarise or clarify your requirement in detail?
