How to start the HTTP service ?

Hi,

I am configuring an inbound file adapter and after the file is published, the file adpater just hangs. I somehow doubt that the HTTP services are not running. Can some please tell me how to check if the HTTP service is runnuing and if not how to add it and start it.

URL in my file adapter is

http://<host>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Satinder,

Assuming that your are replacing the <host> in the URL with the actual host address/name and the port. eg Port would be 8000 + your system number. So if system number is 10, the port would be 8010.

To activate services, go to the Adapter main page (browser based). Click on Services. There you can activate all relevant services.
