Problem: <xhtmlb:tabStrip> - Number of visual tabStripItems

Hi everyone,

i have the following problem: For the element <xhtmlb:tabStrip> the attribut <i>dropDownItemCount</i> is not working properly. Whatever value i use, in the method <i>IFUR_D2~I_PCTab</i> the value is set to 7.

Any idea? Or is it a bug;)

I had the same problem, I am using SP 42 on WebAS 6.20

I have 12 tabs using design2003 but no matter what number I set the list was always the same.

I changed the thing to severla different values and finally just set dropDownVisible to 'false'. I've got a tree node that links to my tabs so it wasn't a big issue for me.

Jein. No bug. But a compromise.

Many years ago, there were some performance problems somewhere. There were people that complained about to many tabs on screen. And then not enough. Everybody was hot. Some SVP made a pow-wow in his office, seven was the magic number. This is the maximum number of tags to be rendered.

If this is a seriously problem for you, please route OSS message to us, so that we re-examine the situation.
