Portal Tuning - Performance of the Components

The response time parts for the Slowest Request shows that the components EP:PRT_render:com.sap.ip.bi.web.portal.integration.launcher and com.sap.mw.jco.JCO.Client

takes the maximum amount of time ( Gross Time )

Any idea how these two components can be tuned to perform better.
