User-defined tables not updated in SBO

When adding user-defined tables using the object UserTablesMD the table is added to the database but not immediately available in the application - neither in the list of user-defined tables or as item in the menu "Fill User Table".

After restart of SBO 6.5 or reconnecting to the database the table and the menu item is available.

Is it possible to update the application object manually?

Is this a known bug?

I'd like to create UD Tables etc. on-the-fly from my add-on on start-up.

Thanks,

Gerold,

    Hi Acumen,

since addons run clientside, what will you do if two clients start up at the same time, trying to create tables?.

If you try creating a table via the regular SAP client, one requirement is that no other client is connected before the action is completed.

For some reason this logic is not working in .Net applications (and possibly others as well).

If you need temporary tables, you can always create them outside SAP or create a permanent table once and reuse it.
