cogs and cogm issue

Hello Team,

I have a problem with cost of goods sold cost of goods manfactures,my clent requirement is

cogs&cogm should not hit the trail balance,reason they have same goods( sponge iron,coal,TMT bar) for manfacturing&trading,when they purchase trading goods its also hits in COGS for this they haven,t recognised with goods are for manfacturing &trading

Can u please suggest me how to solve this
