Unable to install SAP WAS 6.4 Sneak Preview on Win XP

Hi,

I am not able to do above installation.Please help me in following queries :

- Will this work on Win XP or what are the supported platforms

- Can some body pass me installation help /guide

- Is a database also a prerequisite before I can install WAS (Only SQLServer or can i use something else)

I basically followed, instructions in install.htm present in WebAS640_Java_SP5.but installation fails - giving following error :

ERROR 2004-07-26 16:15:46

MDB-05036 Error when creating sqldmo SqlServer object

ERROR 2004-07-26 16:15:46

MDB-05034 Call to a threaded function returned "1".

WARNING 2004-07-26 16:15:46

at Logon Information pane.

Any help is appreciated.

were did you get your download from?

prerequisites are here on SDN:

All you need to know is on the dowloadsite of sdn.

a database is installed with the system.
