I have an Bsp Application , i configured in Portal with a Bsp iview.

Previously i have a problem of transefering the request from Http to Https.I could not able 2 preview or display in any browser.by help of basis i got some solution .

When i use Mozilla firefox , ican preview the view By admin , its working fine and for end user we are able to display the content provided in that bsp .even when i test that application in R/3 with the help of mozilla, its working.

As of Mozilla every thing is working fine

But My problem is when i use Internet explore 6, the preview from R/3 Is Working after i diabale d the check box Https in Application. Preview from backend is fine.

From The Portal point of view , even when i preview the applciation or when an end user click that application in his role, the page cant be seen as its showing Loading only, and in the mean time its taking Huge logins in the backend server with the id which we are previewing .its creating many nodes. which others cant be able to login to their backend apps

But mozilla is just taking one login and provieds required O/p

What might be the problem, i have tried by changing the settings in IE but could not suceed.

even i had made the application from Https To http

could u pls tell me if any one has the same issue?

Bye

Hi Sandeep,

It is a IE browser problem. Check and [Note 1261902 - "Acess Denied" javascript error with IE6 and AI iViews|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1261902].

Hi Sandeep,

Make sure that you have exactly followed instructions provided in , you access your portal by FQDN and R/3 system object (in portal SLD) is configured to use FQDN of R/3 backend too.

Moreover, if you need to access R/3 by HTTPS connection, you have to access your portal also by HTTPS protocol (refer to [Note 1334956 - Various problems that solved by using FQDN in portal URL|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1334956]).

Hi

As U Said , I check ed The Problem In Trancation Thread.

Iam Accesing My Portal With FQDN---http://hostname:portno/irj/portal

Webas ---hostname:8000

/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

Http

same for Its.

As connection test all are sucessful,

In Internet explorer

When i go for System Admin -> Support -> (Top Level Area)SAP Application -> Bsp

i can run the Hr bsp application perferctly.

Even When I run a Tcode , its working

But When i run the Timetable application its taking the same repeated logins in backend

Even Webdynpro app had run sucess fully

for all The Above I use The Same System object.

But When i perform The Same with Mozailla , every thing is fine.

Even bsp Is working Fine

I Had Added The FQDN of portal to my trusted sites in Local Intranet Zone

Even I had changed The Below

1.Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting property should be set to Enabled.

2.Access data sources across domain property should be set to Enabled.

But I Have The Same Problem

My portal Is Http, previously in my application Https Was enabled, I removed that and made to Http, From then I can work it with Mozilla.

Even I can preview The Application from Sicf thru Internet explorer. But i cant see that From Portal.

Is That The Problem of Browser ( I dont Think so, if so when i preview from R/3 i shuld get the same problem, but it doesnt)

problem of System Object Or Problem of portal Or Problem of application?

I think Our Problem will be with in these scope?

If u need any more details , i can provide.

But Pls help me in resolving This issue

Bye

Thanx

Hi Sandeep,

FQDN must include hostname and domainname, i.e.:

portal.company.com:50000/irj

ecc.company.com:8000

Hi Sandeep,

Sorry for a late reply. Could you try to reproduce the issue in IE7 or IE8? Do you use User Mapping or Logon Tickets for SSO? What is SP of your portal?

Hi Sandeep,

But When i run the Timetable application its taking the same repeated logins in backend

Seems like IE drops cookies and BSP application initiates new session again and again. There are many SAP Notes regarding to BSP cookies problems, such as Notes 909353, 827544, but all of them related to old SPs. And most common problems with cookies are explained at wiki page [Cookie Problems|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BSP/Cookie+Problems].

I suggest checking what happens between Portal and HR backend by using HTTP Watch or a similar tool.

The request from the portal(HTTP) is redirecting to HTTPS when its going to execute the application,

previously we made some seetings changed for the BSP application and from then its working very fine with Mozilla, But the same remains IN IE.

Cant Even get where exact the problem is.

even applied and checked all the notes found and made the settings in IE , could not help me in getting out of this problem

Hi Sandeep,

As suggested by Alexander, check for the details using HTTPWATCH or some similar tool. Also when the backend is reached the url is getting converted to "HTTPS". I suggest that you check the System Config properties that you have defined for the BSP Applications. Try keeping the protocol as HTTP and post the results.

Pinac

Hi ,

What is the SP level of your portal. Can you please try adding the portal and the r/3 domain name to trusted sites in your browser and then try again.
