Cancel Cancelled ODO document

HI all,

Is there a way in which i can reverse a canceled ODO document? The problem is like this:

- I create an ODO document 123 in period 01

- I cancel the ODO document 123 in period 02, which is wrong, but the ODO document is already reversed

It was a pending transaction, in which there was a mistake in the input of posting date. What can be done?

I have posted in SD forum, but still can't find the solution for this.

Please kindly suggest

I guess you mean you cancelled the goods issue to a delivery with a wrong date.

In this case do a new goods issue with the february date and cancel this new goods issue with the january date.

Sorry for the late reply.

That was what i was trying to do.

However, when i was trying to cancel the GI, i got the following error:

Cancellation date 31.01.2011 is before the goods issue date 02.02.2011

Message no. VL626

This suggestion does not work. I am very sorry.

SAP prevents even within the same period that the cancellation date is before the actual goods issue date.

And I have not seen an option to make this message a warning only.

So I have no solution for you.

the reversal was done via FI

Hello Erwin,

You can reverse the goods issue on back dated posting date using using goods movement field.

Say for example you you have done goods issue for OD on 22.01.2011 and you need to reverse it on 02.02.2011.

Go to VL09 and enter the goods movement date as 22.01.2011, as goods issue is posted in january, so reversal wil happen the preset period.

Now to coming to your point that you have mistakenly reversed it on say 02.02.2011. You can now do he goods issue again with date 22.01.2011 for the same delivery by manually chnaging the planned goods issue date in delivery header and item details.

Then try to do the reversal again with VL09 with preset goods movement date.

Also while doing reverse system calls function module WS_REVERSE_GOODS_ISSUE..in that when it check for date..it again calls another function module MESSAGE_STORE and here you have that message class VL with message number 626 and msg type as E.All you need to do is make this E to W. But dont do just as it is.

Please take the help of technicl consultant for doing this change.
