Business Objects/Crystal Reports export

Currently our setup is an oracle database, with business objects 4.1 SP7 and Crystal Reports 2013.

We design reports against a reporting oracle database in Oracle SQL Developer, input the SQL to a Crystal Report (Database Expert tool) and use BO to schedule our reports to a destination. Everything works fine, all servers up and running etc.

We tried to input a report this afternoon via the above method, Database Expert (the query is verified when the OK button is pressed). We can preview the reports contents ran against the database in Crystal absolutely fine, so i see no error with the SQL.

The problem occurs when the report is scheduled in Business Objects, it is ran and the file appears at the location specified, however the file ONLY contains the headers and no data beneath them i.e. it is only the headers that have been exported.

I have never had this error occur before, and have exhausted google trying to find an answer.

Can anyone help? Can provide more detail if needed.

Does the report in BOE run against the same database as the report run in Crystal or was the database changed in the report's Database Configuration in BOE? Are the same user credentials being used to log into the database in both locations? Are the details in a subreport? If so, has the Database Configuration been set for the subreport as well as the main report?

If you run the report on demand in bilaunchpad - do you see the results ?
does the schedule reports successful instance or is there any error ?
