REST Adapter: Error Mapping failed

Hello,

I am trying to create pi-rest-adapter-exposing-a-function-module-as-restful-service by following blog : https://blogs.sap.com/2014/12/18/pi-rest-adapter-exposing-a-function-module-as-restful-service/

I created Request Data type, Message type and message mapping as mentioned.

I get error mentioned below in Message log.

Returning to application. Exception: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error encountered while executing mapping: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.ResourceException: Could not determine mapping steps for message a63a2744-be2f-11e6-b65d-00000170c92e

Can someone please suggest what is causing this error.

Is it something to do with response from RFC.

I'm facing same issue in REST to RFC syn interface.Could you please tell me how do you resolved ? this issue
