Sizing WAS 640

Hello All,

My customer is planning to use WAS 640 and use Adobe Document Service for development.

Does anyone know, where can I find the documentation on Sizing WAS640? Are there any white papers, Documents available for this? I believe we can not use quick sizer for this since WAS is a standalone basis release and the application being developed is a custom developed application.

Please let me know your thoughts on this. I am curious to know what other SAP customers are doing who are planning to golive on WAS 640 Platform.

Hi Rakesh,

as I usually say: as long as you don't tell me the kind of car you want to run, I cannot tell you the power you need for your motor. We are talking about pure technology here and ther is just a short description what you need to run that. The rest depends on your app.

Thanks for your reply.

The plan is to have around 500 councurrent users using a custom application developed in Adobe Acrobat Services for WAS640. The users will be creating close to 60,000 documents a year.

I am trying to find a reference to see if anyone else has done any sizing related to WebAs.
