Invoice Management

Hello,

we are currently investigating on an solution for Invoice Management. I had in mind, that SRM 7.0 includes already a solution. Additionally, we found also an Addon so called "SAP Invoice Management By OpenText". So, what are the differences, advantages, disadvantages and which features are not covered by the SRM solution, so that an alternative solution is provided by SAP?

Hi,

The main point is who is handling invoice exceptions in which system.

"SAP Invoice Management By OpenText" is SAPGUI UI in ERP.

SRM Invoice Management is WebUI in SRM.

Invoice exceptions are handled by financial experts and they use SAPGUI.

That is why "SAP Invoice Management By OpenText" fits for most of customers.

Hi Masa,

I saw you answered so many threads. Please help me in the below issue.

Issue: SRM 7.0, In Portal frontend we have Invoice monitor iview to view the exceptions "Missing GR". I can forward the email manually for Missing GR exception, but we want to trigger an email automatically. I did the configuration in Settings Invoice Monitor iview to trigger automatically when exception occurs after 1 day.

But its not triggering. Could you please let me know what are the missing steps? Do I need to do anything from backend SRM system. Any workflow tasks are required to configure in BRF?

I appreciate your help. Sorry I posted here. Please help me ASAP.
