All condition type have records in typical case all condition type are applicable (system will get the records)

in that case which condition type will be active in pricing calculation and what is the control (Logic) behind this.??????

hi,

this is to inform you that,

this can be achieved through a pricing routine you have to make this three condition types active.

in the given scenario PR01 will be active and even those two condition types carries condition records it will not be active for that sales area.

logic here is : SEQUENCE of condition types which you do for the pricing procedure.

fields to consider:

VKORG, VTWEG, SPART, VBAK_AUART, V_T683S-STUNR, V_T683S-ZAEHK & ALL THE THREE KSCHL's.

please check and confirm

Hi,

In this case you can use a Condition Exclusion. In customizing Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Pricing --> Condition exclusion --> Condition exclusion for groups of conditions you can create a group for each condition and create a rule in the procedure. You can choose the condition maintains active if all the conditions type are applicable.

I assume this has been answered in the forum before.

Per standard, the system will use the last record in the pricing calculation.

Hello,

I agree with Shiva Ram. If you do not have condition exclusions set-up, the system will use the last "price" in the sequence based on how your Pricing Procedure has been configured of course (see step number and counter for the condition type sequence).

If your 3 conditions are in that sequence in your pricing procedure, then the important "control" here is the Condition Class. If all 3 of the conditions you have mentioned are all CONDITION CLASS = B: Prices, then the system will take the last price and deactivate the first 2 "Prices" encountered.

Normally, when you look at the " Item Conditions - Detail" (Item>Conditions>use magnifying glass/doucble-click on the condition type) for first 2 prices that will be de-activated, you will see in "Control Data" --> Inactive = Y: Inactive because of subsequent price.

Does this answer your question? Please let us know.

Kind regards,

Eva
