Value range into header of layout?

Hi,

we are on BW 3.0B and SEM 3.1B. I've a characteristic variable ZCOUNTRY_VAR which I had set value range from EUR-USA. I have a characteristic ZCOUNTRY in the header of the layout with initial value set to characteristic variable (ZCOUNTRY_VAR) in the level and package.

EUR-USA data range has values EUR,JPN,USA

Now, when I execute the planning folder,

I am getting layout as follows.

======

Header

======

Country EUR

-

layout follows for EUR

EUR values

-

when i use down arrow to get next combination, layout is as follows

======

Header

======

Country JPN

-

layout follows for JPN

JPN values

-

when i use down arrow to get next combination, layout is as follows

======

Header

======

Country USA

-

layout follows for USA

USA values

-

i'm interested in achieving the following layout w/o going for downarrow and display all countries at a time.

======

Header

======

Country EUR-USA

-

layout follows

EUR values

JPN values

USA values

-

even after i assigned value range variable to characteristic, still only 1 value at a time is coming in to header. I assinged value range to header characteristic. can we get value range into header?

Appreciate your inputs.

    Hello Hari,

    this is not possible. The header contains only single characteristic values - never ranges.

    If you need aggregated results like in your example, you can use a BW query.
