SBOOKSHOP - tutorial data ?

I'm new to BSP.

I tried the tutorial and understood how it works except that the BSP Applications couldn't retrieve any data from BS* tables.

Even the SAP provided tutorial_* BSP applications did not work.

I did create dummy data in the BS* tables and made sure I'm able to view it via SE16.

AM i missing something ?

Regards,

Maulik Thakkar

The BS* tables are class A tables, which means that they are shipped empty from SAP. No data inside them. You will to fill them all correctly. Maybe you are missing some key relationship somewhere.

But if you write "understood how it works", then why not just move on to another one of your favourite tables. Take an empty BSP page. Load your table from database, and display it. Getting your hands dirty is the fastest way to learn.

Consider to copy the source of IT00/mime_sap_icons.htm into your own page and play with it. It is a nice example of rendering a table, plus a few icons. Good for exercise #1.
