Multiple IDoc Types

We are trying to implement a scenario in XI 2.0 SP5

File -> Adapter > XI > IDoc Adapter > SAP

The only twist is that the flat file contains the data for two different Idoc Types. One is DEBMAS06 and other ADRMAS02.

We plan to create two saperate Message Types and Message Mappings. and also saperate Interfaces for the two different IDoc Types.

However, I am not able to figure the way in which I am going to serialize the two. This is because ADRMAS02 has to be created after DEBMAS06 has been posted.

One probable solution that we can think is to send the IDoc and let them be handled on the SAP End.

I wanted to know if there is something in XI which can help me do this stuff. May be a different approach.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Ashish

    Ashish,

Did you try setting up the using the same queue and making the queue First In First Out (FIFO)? That way we can guarantee the order in which they hit R3 box.

Also for sure this can be handled from R3 side to trigger different IDoc Types to get posted with a time delay.

I myself have a question for you? Did you try sending to R3 any DEBMAS06? If you did, did you have to make any entries in tables like IDOCSYN etc? Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ashish,

Serilization can be done in XI-3.0 using the BPM tool to model the message.
